Search Engine
Submission
You need to
get you CYS activated and registered with Click Your Site Member
area before you can use this feature. Cys has build-in ability
to submit your site to various search engines. The following
are the steps to complete you registration.

Click on the “Submit to Search Engines” button on the startup screen of
CYS.
This will open a form like below :

This screen shows all the information you gave during the website
building. At this point you may change any of the information
on screen. Please keep in mind that this is the information
that will be submitted to the various search engines.

The key word section currently displays the description of your site
that you wrote. It is a good idea to edit it and fill in
words that are relevant to your site. These are the words
that the search engine will use to categorize your site. For
e.g. if you are a chemical dealer specializing in acids, it
will be a good idea to include words like "chemical",
"dealer", "India", "acid" etc. you can add words separated
by a comma. Take care that list does not become too large,
because search engines will ignore words after certain limit.

The form will have two of its fields empty : Email Address and Domain
Name. Please fill in the fields, as they are required for
this process to continue. It's obvious that you cannot do
search engine submission before you book you domain and upload
your site.

Ok. Everything is done. Now connect to internet if you are not
already connected. Once connected, Press " Ok ". This will
open a CYS browser window and will automatically take you to
the search engine submission page. Follow the instructions
provided on that page.

On completing the process you can close the CYS browser.
Note : CYS
does neither represent nor is connected with listed search
engines. This facility is only provided to users of CYS for
their convenience. Search Engines take from 7 days to couple of
months to actually list a site in their listing. Furthermore,
search engines have their own method of listing the sites, so
there is no possible way to list your site at top of the
listing. Search Engine submission of CYS provides the
functionality, but does not guaranty its results. If you want
surety, you can submit your site manually by visiting each of
the required search engines.
